Stoplights
Designers:
Do you like pollution? We don't
either. Why are we forced at 2 am to pump pollution forth at
every stoplight on every block on a major thoroughfare? Why
aren't the stoplights flashing yellow after 11 pm?
Hint: On US Highways or even MAJOR
through streets flash the stoplights yellow from 11 pm until 5:30 am
to keep trucks moving and stop choking grandma while she's asleep
for NOTHING when there is LOW traffic volume!
Lawmakers:
As many of you know, people nowadays are
worried about polluting the environment and things CAN be done to
lessen it dramatically by keeping the trucks moving at night.
EVERY time a truck stops and has to get moving again at a stoplight
it pumps MORE pollution out senselessly. Make laws stating
that major roads at night MUST be flashing yellow. These
stoplights at night are not only a major irritation (making us more
tired and stressed) but they are NOT needed when there is NOBODY
even at the lights in the first place!
