western express wl tell you anything untill you get on the road. they say you can put in and get home time for every two weeks. what they dont tell you is they require a 2500 mile average a week and if you dont meet that average then you will not be allowed to go home. I raN the north east more than anything else. Maine, New York, New Jersey…..running especially New York it is very easy to run out of your drive clock dealing with traffic in heavily congested areas. then when it comes time to go home for hometime that has already been approved they tell you that you cant go because you dont have they required miles for the week. also have to watch payroll, had occasions where they didnt pay me for loads that where ran. one instance said 1190 miles got hung up in billing because they couldnt make out a signature on the bills. when I called and brought it to their attention automatically I was told the pay would be on my next check. I ask if it was a problem with the bills how does me calling change anything and be told right away that i would be paid on my next check for the miles? a logical person would think if it was something inportant enough to get held up in billing just me bringing it to their attention wouldnt have solved the issue because i let them know i was missing the money on my check. seems to me they were trying to slide it by me. would not recomend them to any driver.
