Finding a place to park these days for truckers is becoming a hard thing to do.  Too many trucks,  too few truck stops & rest areas are exacerbating an already difficult situation. 

Truckers are increasingly running tired these days due to the lack of sufficient spaces to park.  When a driver gets tired and tries to find a space to park he/she confronts an issue which is highly frustrating... "I can't park because there is nowhere to park!"

Why is this?

One of the problems we see is the fact that a LOT of truckers are trashy and do not respect the places they are given to park.  I've personally seen many companies stop allowing drivers to park because they must clean up piss bottles & trash after the drivers leave. 

Joseph Simmons of the DNA OF Commerce states, "The problem as I see it, is that the proverbial rotten apple can spoil a whole barrel of apples is in full application here.."

Drivers... this must STOP or you will soon have NOWHERE to park at all!  You should respect other people's property and leave it just as you found it in order to garner any sort of respect! 

I have run  into this problem myself and have seen it personally MANY times and many times have I gone to a customer that used to let us park but no longer will because of this trash problem! 

How can you complain about the lack of RESPECT & parking then toss your piss bottle out on the one who does let you park?

Kentucky... Thank you for letting truckers use your scales for parking at night! Great job & we're sure you've saved many lives.

Indiana...  Thanks for letting truckers use state areas on your turnpike to let truckers rest.  We're sure you've saved many lives.

We would like to give a "thumbs down" to these states for making truckers' lives miserable when it comes to parking:

Virginia...  We do not appreciate your aggressive stance regarding truckers using your on & off ramps to park at night.  You take pride fining drivers for parking on your on & off ramps.  We are sure you've shortened many lives.

North Carolina....  We do not appreciate your officers' hounding of truckers when they  pull into your rest area to rest.  A trucker will pull in to rest in your rest area and get woken up by a DOT officer to do an inspection.  These are "Nazi-like" tactics and are hated.  We are sure you've shortened many lives. 

Indiana...  We do not appreciate your recent law stating drivers cannot park on your off ramps & the corresponding $500 fine.  Drivers WILL now drive tired and kill people in your state,  it's that simple.  We are sure this stance will indeed shorten many lives.
