| Beer 'connoisseurs' have you noticed this fact? As a long-time former Bud drinker, and Budlite (60% of alcohol of reg beer), I switched to Miller Lite several years ago do to a boycott of Bud's latest $$$ maker, Ludicris! I noticed the convenience stores started stocking Miller High Life a couple of years ago at very low prices---thought I'd try some. Tasted like 'chicken,' er no, but much like a premium beer, say Bud!! Then they came out with Miller High Life Lite, and it was equally good for a 'lite' beer!! Since I'm NO beer snob (dont really appreciate the micro-brews at outrageously high prices), and have been to Germany, Holland, Denmark, etc., I came back not really appreciating domestic beers!! But what I got in the NCO club in Germany for as little as 5 cents/beer during 'Happy Hour,' costs me $3.50 here!!! So, believing that 'everything is relative,' I switched to reasonably priced domestic beers. Bottom line you con-o-'sewers,' Miller High Life back in the 50-60's was a premium beer and advertised heavily as 'the champagne of bottled beers!' You can continue to buy your over-priced (paying for $$$$ for advertisement) krapp beers, or try a Miller High Life (lite)....recommended by JAM |
