| Ever run out of trash bags for the truck? I find myself out of trash bags in the truck every once in a while and the thought always runs through my head: "Oh Great, Now I gotta go to Walmart to buy something so I can use the Walmart bags for trashbags...Oh Joy!" Well I put a long term stop to that today. I have a membership to Sam's Club. I was SC earlier today purchasing some cases of soup and other supplies for the truck. I wasn't quite ready to get back in the truck yet so I decided to do a bit of walking around the store. I got over in the back corner of the store looking at cases of handiwipes considering buying a case when I looked between the shelves and noticed something. T-Shirt plastic store bags. Yes..Those bags that every store has to put your merchandise in. The bags that 99% of us truckers use for trash bags in the truck. A case of them. 1000 bags. For $13. There was a whole pallet of them. I will never run out of trash bags again...well at least not for a couple of years! I am irritated that I didn't think of this sooner.... or see them in the store sooner. |
