Finally...

After a year of hauling reefer loads and getting OSD stuff that I don't eat like chicken(allergy), or pork. Two nights ago I received 58 pounds of uncut top sirloin beef. And with only 70 miles from home I got it home and in the freezer. Good quality too, the butcher I had cut it up asked where I got it from, he said its top shelf quality. Whatever that means, I'm just happy to have some steaks.

Isn't it grand?
I've only been at TransAm for 3 months and have gotten:
  • 27lbs of deli meat
  • 60lbs of ground beef
  • Some pork product

Last fall I went out and put a fat cow elk in my freezer and this spring I bought 1/4 of a beef from my brother's ranch.

Life is good for meat eaters.

The elk was a long shot, over 500 yrds. A good friend of mine said later..... "I've seen you shoot, and that has to be the most unlucky $$$$$%%%###### elk in the state of WY." I got a good laugh out of that and told him I didn't care about luck, it was in my freezer and sure eats good.

Wow, glad to see i'm not the only one out here that's allergic to poultry (yes, I cannot eat any poultry meat, but can eat eggs). Gotta love a good steak!

Amen Bro, got two racks or pork ribs ready to go on the smoker for tomorrow. Saw a funny bumper sticker recently:

Tasty
Animals

I had to laugh!
