Angry Attention COMCAST Cable users !!! You Immediate attention needed !!

Comcast has included in their most recent billing mail outs, a new agreement, which by failure to read and respond, forfeits your right (automatically) to sue Comcast in the event of a dispute.

Note the story below...

Much like the signs in parking garages "Not Responsible for Loss or Damage", this "waiver" is probably worthless. Some states (Michigan is one) do not allow such "waivers" and their residents do not give up their rights to take legal action in such manner.

Yeh, but it's still a sneaky way of doing business. How low can you go?

Credit card companies are famous for these types of things. They send you a letter (included in your bill) stating they will be raising your interest, for no apparent reason, unless you contact them and protest.

Nothing you can do about it, once it's been done. We've caught the sleazebags twice at this game, this year alone. Result...no increased rates.

The waiver might be worthless but one thing is does do is make it harder to sue. So basically instead of just out-and-out suing and you have prove you have a legal right to sue, etc. Makes it harder to settle out of court.

Loan sharks also do this type of thing, which is why there's nothing much you can do save picketing the actual office space.

NOW why would COM-CAST be so worried about the customers suing them if they'd give 100% customer satisfaction and not put the $$$ dollar signs number 1? THEY should know that the mark of a successful company is the satisfaction and happiness of their customers. IF you give a customer what they want, they are happy and inclined to tell others how happy they are with the company. THAT causes a companies customer base to go up with even more happy and satisfied customers. WHY cant all companies do this??? I myself have been a VERY loyal customer of VERIZON since they began business and have proudly spoken of the great service they have given me thru the years. SO like i said earlier, A HAPPY CUSTOMER WILL SPEAK OUT AND LET OTHERS KNOW HOW GOOD A COMPANY IS TO THEM..

I've had this crap pulled on me before. I had a Phillips 66 Commercial card for emergency over the road fuel in case I had a tiff with the company I was leased to and they cut off my fuel.

I used it to fill my cars and at a local station here for truck fuel when I needed fuel in this state for tax reasons.

They sent a new agreement that cut off the grace period, meaning interest would accrue from the date of purchase. How could you ever pay this off, as I usually did every month? By the time the statement was sent, and a check was mailed and received, the interest would have gone up more.

There was a paper saying as a long time card member I could opt out if I signed the document and mailed it back within so many days, which I did.

About a week later I received a letter stating they were sorry I had decided to cancel my fuel card, and thanking me for the years of business. What?

Crooks. If they couldn't get what they wanted, they dropped you.

I had no problem with Phillips, but they had recently sold their credit card business out to someone else, then this started.
