Well, if I read that every day for a week, I will drop 10 pounds real fast! Just the thought of fish ice cream makes me ill!

To be honest? I'd try some of these. Probably the wasabi... the sesame, soybean and kelp... the potato liquor... the red wine... the cheese risotto... grated yam... and several others. I'll pass on the raw horseflesh, though.

I've never eaten horsemeat, Fozzy, but if offered, I would probably try it (although not in ice cream, I'm afraid). I'm pretty game that way. Have you tasted it?

Yeah, in Germany they eat a lot of horse meat.. there was a Gasthaus that we used to frequent that served all sorts of strange items. I tried the snails, but I had to have a couple of Jagermeisters to get up the courage. The frogs legs were rather tasty... The appearance of the Horse meat was what put me off, but it really didn't taste that bad.. the Germans could pretty much cook a brick and make it taste great though!

I've had both snails (escargot) and frog legs. The snails were served with a garlic butter and while not bad, it's not something I'd order again. The frog legs were really good, and I will eat them whenever they are offered (which has been exactly twice in my 52 years).

I have never had Rocky Mountain Oysters, but would love to try them some day just for the novelty of saying I've eaten them. Who knows? I might like them... although I admit to not being much of a fan of fried foods.

What is it about the appearance of horsemeat that makes it un-inviting, Fozzy? I remember someone talking about a meat once that was kinda gray-ish in color. Was that horsemeat maybe?
