Well, got one last week. I get out do a load check and go in to scan paper work at a truck stop. Left my phone in the truck. Was gone less than 15 minutes. Phone rings, I see ten missed calls in that time frame. Hmmm, I answer, I hear where you been???? Where is the spare key to get in the house? Daughter used it and forgot to put it back when she forgot her key. Hmmm, now I catch on pretty quick so I am thinking daughter and wife are at home in car and neither one has their house key. I am 5 states away and already I can tell it is my fault they are locked out!

Wife is a little testy with me. Say's I am gonna hide a key where I am the only one who will know where it is. I say like you will remember where you put it? Try putting it in your purse. Ooops that didn't work last time did it! I hear click and call back. I know what this woman is fixing to do. No answer. I call daughter. Put your mom on. She is around back. Go get her give her your phone! Silence followed by click. Daughter takes awhile, hobbling on crutches. Wife is a red head and not rationial at this point!
Wife calls back with I am in the house. How I asked? Was mad, broke in. Tell me you broke a $4.00 glass and reached in and unlocked door and did not kick door in. Nope, woman destroyed door knob and busted door. ARGGHHH ! At this point I am thinking forget home time, just sleep in truck and roll later to save marriage. I get home, was I upset? Well I did not show it until I find no coffee in the house. Been living with this woman for 17 years. She knows to have coffee in the house! She say's go to wallyworld and buy some! You work at wally world why should I have to go buy some????? So you can tell this week end was just peachy! Note to self tell dispatch keep me out 2 weeks this run!

In this case, I agree wholeheartedly! Two weeks out is a VERY good thing!

I don't think I have ever had the cahones to tell my hubby to get his own coffee. (I've dumped his coffee on him for saying something BEYOND stupid, but never told him to get his own!)

How hard is it to keep a spare key? I've only locked myself out once in my life, and that was just last week, while half asleep from too much Midol! Had to call someone to bring me the keys that were supposed to be in my purse! This is what I get for changing purses so often? (Really embarrassing when my uncle is the local locksmith!)

I own a rental house next door to my house. One night the renter claimed someone tried to break in by kicking in the door. My dogs never heard a thing.

Turns out, they locked themselves out of the house and they were not bright enough to walk next door and ask me to unlock the door.

They kicked the door in doing loads of damage.
