Weigh Stations

Hey anyone besides me notice that this past week there were alot of Weight Stations open that are normally closed... at least thats the way it was in Ohio and PA, I've been shuttling Seed from Peebles OH to Clearfield PA, and every day this week the weight station on US-23, I-76 WB, I-80 WB, and the PA EB I-80, as well as the rest areas had dot all week long, pulling in random inspections and i heard from another driver the Scale's in WV on the turnpike were open as well...

almost like last week was a blitz week or maybe just over here in OH and PA, another USX driver i was talking to had a good suggestion said it was probably due to the Mexican Truckers, i don't know i just don't wanna be pulled in for a inspection because i don't feel like loosing 1 hour out of my day wasting my time..

Any way anyone Else notice this?

I remember reading somewhere that there was going to be a push again this fall. Don't recall where though.

I ran thru IN, IL, KY, TN, GA, and MO with only one unusual thing. The MO scale south of St. Louis on I-55 SB was open late at night on Thurs. night. Usually that scale is closed after 8pm. I was there right around 10pm and crossed 'em.

Yea but at lwast they re-paved that section right before the scale at that station used to feel like you were off roading from all the pot holes and ruts that were there.
