LOL thats nothing... When i was in the Army i bought my 1st car when i turned 20, a 2000 Pontiac Firebird V6 3.6 Burgundy T Top, i had Geico insurance on my 92 buick Lesaber and i sold that car for 3,000...

Any way the Quote i got from Geico was 2,800 Every 6 months, I had and still have a Clean Driving Record no anything.... the Insurance was 2 times my annual Car payments i was financed at 3.1% for 15k in all....

I about Flipped out and died i wish i had gotten the insurance checked before i purchased the car... i went with USAA they were a little more reasonable only $260.00 a month my car payment was 272.26 lol IF i wasn't in the army i would not have purchased insurance....

Any way I'm freakin 24 now my insurance rates are still that high until i found out US Xpress offers a company discount through Liberty.. and now my Car Insurance is only 1,099 a year!!!! OMG its such a relief, i can't wait till next year when i turn 25 and those dang rates drop...

I have used progressive for years. I have never had a problem with them. I own a 2002 saturn, a 1993 jeep wrangler, and a 1999 dodge ram my cost is $523 every six months. It was more when I was married but I am not anymore so atleast that was one good thing that came out of it lol.

Angry

I switched to Progressive, after my last insurance company tried to rape me with a $3600 a year bill for my car.

I have 2 insured, one with full coverage (late model) $1200 a year.

On a more sour note. ALLSTATE came and paid a visit to my mother. After the visit. She received a letter stating she had 90 days, to paint the house, and remove a non functioning chimney from the house, or be cancelled. She cancelled them the next day. This happened after being insured through Allstate for more than 20 years, without a single claim.

State Farm refused to pay a claim on my property (theft). I had to hire a lawyer. I've since cancelled their stupid ### too. Right after I signed the settlement check.
