someone broke into my Nissan!

I am so ticked off, and I SO want to cry!

They couldn't just take the stuff from the back of the truck, oh no! They left all the tools and such in the back of the truck... They took to boxes filled with stationary and pens from the back..

But they broke out my passenger side window to get.. a cheapie little TIny Taylor sewing machine!! Not even $80! And the aftermarket center console cup holder.. one of those 13.97 models from your local WalMart! It would cost more to replace the window than everything else combined!!

They took a jacket and two itchy wool blankets, and my framing hammer from the front too! I've had that framing hammer since Ron gave it to me when I was 16! It would be so easy to replace that hammer, but not that certain one!! I am so MAD!!!!

They left all my Snap On and Mac tools, and took all this little stuff. Which is really a good thing, but still.....

Precisely why I never lock my car doors. Leave nothing in the car of any value, and hopefully they don't break the window just for spite.

They left the tools but took a cup holder and sewing machine? Automatically I suspect Matha Stewart.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened though. Last Christmas someone stoled my hubs off my GMC Envoy. I didn't understand it, until I found out they sell for 90 dollars each.

Angry

Never try to find logic in the thinking of thieves !!

Our house was broken into. They took dining room chairs...not the table.

The took night stands (with contents) nothing else in the bedroom.

Took ALL my tools...but left the #### tool boxes ! I guess they dumped them into a trunk or something.

They took end tables and coffee table from the living room...left the TV and other furniture.

The list goes on and on like this....The pattern was random...totally.

If my house was broken into I would probably have to move.

I would feel completely violated. I don't think I would get over something like that.

Thank you for the laugh! I really really needed that right now! Everyone here loved that comment!

The way they did your place Dance, I can't figure out. Sounds like a woman with PMS out to get revenge! You know, a kind of "took the tv, have fun watching the vcr!"

Ronno.. I don't think they even tried the door! The window was broken, the stuff was gone, and the door is still locked.

Good grief, what a week!

We did neighbors in that hood sucked as witnesses. Surprising at best since it was one of the better areas of the Birmingham Metro.

Jefferson County sucks as investigators, they spent 2 months trying to convince me and the wife to come in for a polygraph (we were on the road). They refused to do any further investigating until we did.

So nothing was done about it.

What the **** were they thinking Dance? Better yet, what were they SMOKING?? Obvious incompetance!

The officer that took the report did a good job. Right down to noting that there was still a price tag from a local second hand store on the sewing machine for $7. And he checked the truck over himself asking if the plates were attached like I had had them If the toolboxes had been moved around or tampered with..

I'm just so tired of this.
