| If this is a video, it's not working for me. When I'm on the road, I can't watch streaming video anyway. Could someone post the text please? Watched it... oh, my.... I'm so glad they're BOTH jailed for a LONG LONG time. I can't imagine that poor dad's heartbreak |

| That was so sad. Those two got off easy just going to jail. Hopefully someone there will treat them with the same respect they gave that poor little girl. |

| I can barely see thru the tears. I wish I could find my three year old niece. She's out there somewhere with her nutcase mother. They disappeared once, and then we started hearing from them.. now I haven't heard from them since September. This reminds me of her.

| It's too hard to see this. When I was a cop, I saw things like this. It was a tragedy to take kids like this away from the abuser, and the parent enabling the abuser, then watch some "I don't give a #####" lawyer and a worthless Judge give the kid right back till it happens again. My wife and I became foster parents and raised a very young girl, who was abused by her worthless dopehead-criminal parents. They were always in and out of jail, and crack houses. When we got the child, she had 2 black eyes, a bruise around her throat from being choked, and 2 broken teeth and a busted lip. Not to mention the previous broken bones, bruises and mental scars. The worst part was seeing the state child "welfare" workers and state provided attorney for the parents, do everything in their power to re-unite the child with her parents. You see, after 60 days of rehab and given a good talking to, they were "cured" and much better parents. After the parents refused to cooperate in their probation and suddenly ended up in jail for drugs and child abuse again, they put her in our home again. Icing on the cake was, they again tried to place her back with the parents after 3 months. I hired an attorney myself, even though the state said I could not defend the child, because I was supposed to be impartial as a foster parent. What a joke. My attorney managed to keep the ball rolling against the parents, getting delays and manipulating the system, long enough each time, to see the parents end up in trouble again and again. Long story short, we put her though school, she had her own room, made straight A's in school, grew up, talked on the phone constantly like any teenager, graduated high school, got through business school, got married, has 2 children of her own, and sits at our table in our home every Christmas, thanksgiving and birthdays. She's our little girl, that we had to fight for, and now she's a mommy and we're grandparents, though her biological parents and the State never allowed us to adopt her. They fought us all the way. She just turned 28 the other day and her husband is a news camera man and a great guy. The "father" was killed in a drug deal a couple of years ago, the "mother" is still in and out of jail to this day. My message is: don't ever stop fighting for a child, and don't be afraid to stand up for one that is in harms way. It may mean a life, and you never know who that child will become....... or won't become, if that life is snuffed out. God Bless!!!

AMEN!!! I couldn't have said it better myself! I fought tooth and nail for my niece here in the California courtrooms, and, many thanks to my brother's BS, got no-where. But I did my best. And should the opportunity come up again, I will take him on again!
