I'm going thru some papers here and found a copy of a fuel reciept . That's 7 years ago !

Yep $ 1.19.9 back in 2001 .

I remember back in 2000 when I was a wrenchhead gas was about that much here.

Then, overnight, gas prices jumped 50 cents.

well now I'm depressed...just got throught looking up fuel prices for hubby as he heads to FL for the weekend....now I'm more depressed.....I have never been to FL

In 1999 I paid .99 per gallon.

Just looked up on the computer records what I paid March 04.. 1.459

Well, I remember gasoline being fifteen cents per gallon and gas stations having gas wars to see who could go the lowest to get more customers. I was a long ways from driving age -- and I remember when gas hit twenty-five cents a gallon. My dad said, "someday, gas will be a dollar a gallon".
Folks told him he was nutz.

Perhaps he was -- if he thought it would stop there.
