I hear you, I do.

HeY!
I noticed you're in Up State.
My parents were from the Albany and Brewster areas,
back in the early 1906 to 1940's era.

I bet thangs have changed a tad since then.

COE Freighliners and Internationals, and I moved a V-8 Mack with a 5 speed once. The plant had a single axle gas tractor for a spotter, drove that relic, too. First road driving was an old single axle milk truck hauling sludge. I can't remember being that naive, anymore.

'74 2&1/2 ton 'Binder, 220 cummins and a 10 speed. "You'd better drive that around the section lines for a bit. You'll be driving it next week. "

Can't remember how many shop rags I'd stuffed in the firewall to try and keep warm. And it'd melt tennis shoes in the summer. And oh yeah, air-assist steering!
