How Serious are you about your constitutional rights?

In light of everything. How serious do you take the constitution, and the rights provided to you by this document? Especially religious freedom?

Do you extend these same rights to everyone that is an American citizen? Or do you pick and choose the parts and people you wish to agree with?

I've listened to Mark Levin (talk show host/constitutional lawyer) and agree with his position on the gay marriage ruling. But from my point of view and "simple" way of thinking. I think he will be hard pressed to argue the point within this article as it deals with historically accepted religious beliefs.

Editor of Islam book says recent court rulings pave the way

One Islamic tradition that caused several of the books contributors to leave the religion is that girls are often expected to marry adult men. For example, in the Islamic country of Yemen, 50 percent of all married women are under 14 years of age – including girls who have been married for several years. Girls as young as 6 and 7 are married to men in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

"In view of California's gay marriage ruling, how can we legally stop polygamous and child marriages of the sort seen in Muslim countries?" asks Richardson.
