Hang in there. As one who's done his share of moving (farthest was from the Bay Area in California to Germany!), it can be one of those headaches where you're glad you bought stock in Advil!

This all sounds like Grapes of Wrath, in reverse. Will you be pickin' cotton when you get to Arkansas? Also, you know what bed-bug haulers say: "Three moves are as good as a fire." At least, as far as I know, the flooding did not make it that far south. Oh, here is one by Robert Frost: Home, that place when you have to go there, they have to take you in.

Biker, where in the Bay Area? I just moved from the Delta Area, Antioch specifically. I'd lived there since 1968, except for 2 short moves to Washington State and Georgia. I'll miss the delta for darn sure.

Oh lord.. Haven't lived there since the late 70's. I was stationed out there (Sunnyvale) before getting sent to Germany.

One truck overheated

Two trucks overheated and blew an oil thingy.

Oh I was cryin and wannted to go home. Wait .......wasn't I headed home?

Anyways we got the darn thing fixed in a jiffy but it took a call from 'SOMEONE' to calm me down and get me back on track and focused again...............who says Knights in Shining trucks don't exisit anymore.

So today we are in sunny HOT Kingman Arizona resting for tonights drive

Yes that was me that was making smoke signals........they said:

Ya ain't kiddin' on rich man's territory! It was expensive as all get out to live there. Germany was a welcome change from that! (Lordy I miss partying there!)
