4th of July plans?
Ya I know I'm a bit early but I like to have my s in a row. We got invited to my d.h.'s aunt's house. They have fishing not to far from them and will have a slip and slide and a 4 wheeler for the kiddies. Anybody?

I'm not sure yet. It's going to be my first 4th of July without hubby and son. My birthday is on the 2nd, so it is gonna stink this year. The girls and I will be by ourself. We will probably cook out and swim and go check out the fireworks. It's gonna be weird, that's for sure.

My hubby is taking me to San Diego for my birthday that weekend (my bday is the 6th). We plan to go to the San Diego zoo and bicycle along the beach and, if Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't outlaw fireworks as he is threatening to do, we might watch the fireworks show from our hotel balcony.

Our town always has a huge old-fashioned celebration on either the 3rd or the 5th, this year it is on the 5th. Parade, soap box derby, fireworks, everything, and I can come back to my house and watch the fireworks from my own deck, with my adult beverage in hand of course. But this year I will probably miss it, instead I am getting married.

He was starting to go really stir crazy until I met up with him last week. Now he is back to his cheerful self, but he can't wait for July 5th to come.
