Most Unique Street Names in America

Quote:
Would You Live on This Street?

Buyers take a lot into account when choosing a home, but the name of the street usually doesn't come into play. Notice, we say "usually." Wouldn't you pause before committing to live on Shades of Death Road or Psycho Path? Those were a just couple of the names submitted by AOL users when we asked them to share the most unique street names they have seen in the U.S. (Street names were then verified via MapQuest.)

Click through our gallery to take a look at some other unusual street names.

HAHA, one was actually: Dingleberry Road.

I live on Lick Creek Road (a weird name), but it is in TN and people, up north, think it is funny and put Hick Creek Road. Sigh.

Looney Road in Columbiana, AL. There really is Looney people on that street too....at the far end I got a pic of a double wide with duct tape where the 2 pieces meet! The pic of the double wide is blurry so I dont think I have it posted in my profile but there is a pic of the Looney Road sign.

Of course, when riding through the mountains last weekend we passed a Up Hill Drive rofl Yep, it went up the hill too.

I found the Fun Facts about that road even more funny.

Quote:
The term "dingle berry" is used to describe a wad of horse excrement that gets caught near its behind or in its tail hair. Considering the road is nestled among horse farms, we are guessing the name was intentional?

How about "Mud Alley" in Steamboat Springs, CO. Located between 2nd and 3rd Ave, just west of Main St.

How about the intersection of "Midnight Ave" and "Goodnight Ave" in Pueblo, CO.

Or "Rlington Pkwy" in Hurricane, UT.
