Actually, the placement isn't bad ... they'll be able to collect a lot more in taxes now that it's "waterfront".

I can't even imagine the financial aftermath of this.

I wonder if there was any other way to get it where it was going?

depends on what State it occured in. Most State's require who damaged the bridge, to repair the bridge. That could be a costly house.

I vote for #3 - Roadside Assistance. Call AAA, that's what they are for. Since technically the trailer carrying the house is out of commission, you need AAA to come get you.

I thought homeowners insurance was for when there was damage done to the house by an outside force. The house looks to be in pretty good shape. It's the bridge and guard rails that took the brunt of the damage.

Auto insurance doesn't usually come into play until the damaged vehicle has been towed to a garage. Or at least that's what I thought. Then again this could be a DOT thing I'm guessing there was improper signage.

There had to be another way. I'm guessing that driver gave dispatch a piece of his mind.

That gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "being able to go fishing out your front door".

Yaaa Right

Drivers answer to the DOT official..."I thought surely there was a safety factor built into the weight capacity of the bridge sign."

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

That is a pretty rude question... "what does a spouse weigh?"

What?

Ohhh... Nevermind!
