Currently, Im going on 24 hours in Cloud between Truck Sales and West getting some electronics problems taken care of.

It's Friday, and I've already had to give back one load I got last night, so I'm hoping for a good load this afternoon, and my truck problems don't re-appear like they did last night, when I thought I was done...

ugh.

I'm in St. Cloud now. I'm loading granite in Cold Spring heading to Brooklyn, NYC, an OD load. My first trip to NYC, oh joy!

NYC granite pays better than a lot of the OD loads I've seen. NYC granite also enables me to run through home - usually.

I paid off my securement package in just under 6 months!

Pretty happy about that, as I'm taking it with me when I go, and hopefully it makes my checks a little nicer for take home money!

So, yes, for all my complaining recently, something good has happened!

Congrats. Was it taken out on the mileage plan?

When I did that years back that was how they did it.
Hope things do pick up better for you.

Yeah, it started at .04 cents per mile. My original bill was about 2300, like most folks I imagine.

I bumped it to .06 cents back in September, or October I think...anyway...I wanted it GONE by the Holidays, and I've achieved that goal, so that's pretty cool.

Well that was a good idea.
Like some guys have repair bills and they are in the red.

Then they don't bump up the extra money to help pay the bill off earlier and then have another issue. Then they get a little wavy about trying to help you out.

I will say that some people can not afford to put extra towards the outstanding bill due to having family at home or high child support, etc..

One driver I personally know wanted to trade up his trk.
They told him not untill he pays off his outstanding maintance bill.
He was mad.
Part of his down fall is he gets mad and goes home for 3 - 4 weeks and was bragging how he had x amount in the bank. But yet he owes them allmost that amount.
