May i ask what made you not go with anderson? I talked to maverick today it was hard to get ahold of them then i found out it was because i didnt have 6 months otr experience she said they didnt have their cdl school open right now wich i didnt want any way she said drive for someone else for 6 months because thats how long the waiting list is for students and millis was kinda bs they said they didnt have enough trainers if i already was going to another school and TMC I still cant get ahold of them noway nohow they dont respond at all so far.

They are not looking for drivers ? I thought everyone was looking for drivers in one way or another.

Ya thats what you keep seing it seems like their is so many newbies right now that they are being a little selective ,the way i got ahold of maverick is on their phone message instead of the student option I pressed 2 for experienced driver then they answered on the second ring then when i told her i didnt have experience she goes OH you mite as well drive for someone else for 6 months.

Tracey said my application wasn't approved and she didn't know why. She said they are only hiring a few newbies and someone may have been more qualified than me. I asked on another board how the are to work for and a few people said they heard horror stories of not getting paid,checks bouncing so I guess I got lucky. I did Like them and would of given then a shot. I've followed pathfinders post and he's doing great with them.We need to start somewhere. Thanks

Have you been able to get ahold of anybody else?It seems like a circle talking to these companies and hurry up and wait.Everything looks great and then a discruntled employee says they suck keep away you just wonder the hole story lets face it we'll probably get hosed for the first 6months wear ever we go just who will do it the least.Cya Bye

I was always approved by Millis and what you said about disgruntle employees (or former students) is true. I also had a phone interview with CFI/Conway truckload. After what happened with ATS I didn't want to just wait for cfi/conway so I secured my spot at Millis.They already had my application,verified employment and my MVR. They then sent me my acceptance letter. I have my road test next Thursday Feb 14th and will make my final decision by the 20th so I can notify whom ever I dont go with prior to orientation. Going with Millis also depends on the extention of unemployment benefits because the 1st 3 weeks of MTI is not paid.Thanks I liked ATS and would of given them my first shot. I'll keep my ear to the ground and hope to see them out on the road to inquire more info.

Bigdaddy do you have your cdl yet?I looked at millis first because their school was getting alot of good marks but i kinda had my mind for flatbed companies and i dont think they had them thats why i was talking to anderson but their school approval is kinda sparce the school by me isnt approved only the ones 100 miles away witch isnt no big deal but I'm still working so doing it at night would of been better 5 miles away.
