I used to run like that in the late 90's. go till you couldn't see strait, take a couple hour nap then back at it again. Nowadays, when you get caught it's 3 points on your license and they about want to shoot ya. Heaven forbid that you get in an accident. here is what you can look forward to if you get in one.

wether the acc is your fault or not, if they find any HOS violations, you are immediately at fault for the acc. not to mention each HOS violation connected to a seriouse or fatal acc could get you up to 5 yrs slammer time for each

If there's a fatlity they could possibly take everything you have, now your family is living on the street

Now think, was it worth it

Home time and pay

Does Arnold really get their regional drivers home every 5-6 days as their website says? And do they pay practical miles? Thanks.

Well my wife was hospitalized for depression and during that time I was *supposed* to be regional. I was swapped thru 3 dispatches and NONE of them could get me home... the money for Arnold was more important than my family, health or sanity. All they cared about was moving freight and nothing about the drivers. and it's the PC miler direct pay not practical...

first I'm not driving anymore I have better job now so I'm trying to stay away from u and ur family, the truth is that all truckers cheat on their log book and drive over time no body like it but they gotta make money, and the reason is the companies don't pay the drivers for what they do, so it's okay to not fallow their stupid rules and do what is better for them, now don't tell me u never break the rules in ur favor, if u r then I'm not u and I hate to be a slave do what the system tels me to do, sorry I don't work by their rules, my rules first.

Sorry - on my soapbox again. If you can't play by the rules and make the money you need to live in my opinion you have two choices. 1. live on less or 2. get another job.

Well you contention that all drivers cheat is wrong. When I drove I did not cheat. Did I ever make an honest mistake and do something illegal - I am sure I did. That does not constitute cheating though. I came to the conclusion that the only way to make as much money as many drivers was to cheat as they did. I decided that what I could earn being legal was what the job paid and I better adjust to it. If you are going to cheat and do something that could alter your whole life or even end it for as little as $20-$30 thousand a year I suggest that this is not a good trade.

Just my humble opinion.
