Talking Arrow...Heavy haul...LOL

Arrow does not have a Heavy Haul division, they have a want-to-be heavy haul....They only haul those 15 wide coolers that are sitting on the yard. and we also tried to go heavy haul, and your not allowed to have pets on arrow's heavy haul program, and we are not getting rid of our siberian husky for any damn company. So if arrow does us wrong, we will go to lonestar, daily, keen, or a number of other compainies that actually know what heavy haul is all about.....

After delivering the load a day early I went to the terminal in Tulsa (I delivered right down the road in Sand Springs) to get a steering tire replaced and a PM done. Once at the terminal I was informed another Arrow driver contacted my DM and gave my truck number and said I had insufficiant securement on my coil. I asked my DM if this worthl;ess rat mentioned how many chains I did have, and he said yes the driver said you had five. My response was so why are we having this conversation. To make a long story short I had to draw a diagram, show the load securement regulations, and do the math for him before he finally realized that five chains was legally sufficiant for the coil I had. This and many other reasons are why I am looking for a new job and leaving these incompetant morons ASAP
I would think the problem here would be that even thou the 5 chains met the weight requirment arrows hand book calls for a min of 6 chains for any coil over 33k easily avoided by adding 1 chain and following the rules ser forth in ur handbook

as long as he used 3/8 inch chain and the proper binders it sounds like he had it properly secured. I guess he could have added a strap or two. If your stake pockets are two feet apart it is hard to get more than five chains on a coil.

I'm just saying arrows hand book states ANY coil over 33k has to have a min of 6 chains regardles of there chains weight limit.

closest terminal would be in ohio. and I know for certain that region has a few ppl on the waiting list. I'm from nashville so I asked about it. and yes flatbed only. and I think arrow is a good company but it just depends on you and what you want to do.
