Nope Its on their website and at their rate 67k worth of insurance would cost $3518 a year and I pay $1500 less than that for PD and BT

And it you look at their website it is a lease purchase you cant leave there unless you refinance yourself same as any other lease purchase company they just try to reword it because they know lease purchase has gotten a bad name. all their conditions are the same as any other lease purchase

Dude you are all over the place, you need to stop, take a deep breath, think , and pull your head out of your ###, no offense. What's the point in owning a truck if you still make company driver wage? Like one said first break down or set of tires and you are done! You don't even get how ###### it is.

Why would you want to buy a Classic or a 389 right now? Don't get me wrong I would love nothing better then to go out and buy a 389 but with:

Freight being as slow as it it
Fuel Prices being as high and unstable as they are
And with what freight is paying right now

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a truck that would be a little more fuel efficient?

or Like Southern Pride always talks about LOW overhead why buy new?

and you said you have bad credit, If I had bad credit and was thinking about buying a truck I would do anything and everything I could to put myself in a position to succeed not fail.

I was originally thinking about doing the same thing you want to do, buy a new truck and go make some money, but then I started doing research on the subject and unless you got a ton of $$$$ to put down on a new truck it would be better to start out in a cheaper used and more fuel efficient truck so as to learn to be a O/O and make MORE then a company driver. that way after a few years you'd have some real $$ saved and the experience and knowledge needed to be able to Buy, Run, and Succeed In a Classic, 389, W900

anyway I hope you Succeed as an O/O! Get R Done lol

. The point is to enjoy my life. I know EXACTLY how it is. Thats why im not leasing onto werner.

Oh hell theres no way I'd buy a new truck right now. I just wanted to entertain myself with what it would cost, honestly. But in the same trip to the dealer i'm going to look at used trucks too and see how bad they're ripping me off.. ;)

Infact if i got my own plates i wouldnt even register for CA...

And heck i get on here myself telling people they ought to buy an older truck.

But i want one atleast made in this century.

Honestly, I don't even want a truck with multiplexed wiring, or the emissions crap.

It was so weird, i'd been on both sides of CRST. It was backwards from my experience at werner LOL. At werner its obvious that theyre bending over their o/os

But at CRST, i was trained by an o/o, he owned his truck but had got it from the fleece and paid it off. He was making a killing. Usually more than $2 a mile after FSC + iirc everything paid for by the company except bobtail insurance and taxes, + he only had to pay 6 cents per mile for a student and got about twice the miles after the first week of training...

But i totally got screwed over as a company driver lol. Never made any money. Infact I saw my trainer from there a while back in gary and he told me "I TOLD YOU you'd never make any money there as a company driver!" lol...

And yeah, they'd give him crap loads, 80 cents per mile for 200 miles, etc. he'd reject that crap.
