    Hello Everyone!

Just starting out the process of becoming an O/O. I'm portable, I don't have any ties yet. I'm wondering who knows what are the best states to base my trucking business out of. My interest is solely about money, other factors like weather and scenery are unimportant.

are taxes big factors depending on which state?

    Thank you in advance..

    Keep on rollin!

I kinda figured that one out. lol Also north east is out of the question. should I look south? stay in the north? midwest? 3 of my picks would be Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee. what do you guys think?

OK.was so trucker friendly in the past that many companies that were located far from there maintained a OK.mailing address so they could buy a OK.license plate and pay less in taxes.Being in the center of the country is another advantage for obvious reasons.

All three of those are famous for hating trucks and those that drive and own them.

Oklahoma you say? OK! I wonder if I could get away with just getting one of those business addresses without having anyone physically being there. Does anyone come out and check up on your office?
