I was going by one dealer that had it advertised at 500hp, 10spd and 3:55 but after looking at other ads I see most at 400hp then some at 425 and 435hp.

You better check those rears too. I've seen advertisements that they run a 2:07 rear. ( by dealers )

Should be a 2.64 or 2.79Those are direct drive ratios and are equal to a 3.55 and 3.7 on an overdrive set up.
Good spec for fuel, same as what most Maveric trucks run.
The small sleepers do kind of suck, but I am home most weekends, and would still only stay out 2 weeks at at time if I bought a truck. So I would be ok with the smaller sleeper and the weight savings.
Also the APU is a BIG plus. Not just for using it but also because it means allot less wear on the engine from idle.
Each hour at idle is equal too one hour driving at 40 mph. So the wear adds of allot over the years.

Also knowing that they do not hire drivers with less than 3 years experiance helps. Normally by then you learn how to drive and shift properly. So you have less stress on the drive train.

Big John and chalupa Thank this.

Why would you buy one from a dealer when you can buy them wholesale at an auction?

Their is a lot of dealers that have them some have removed the decals and polished them up and they are pretty good looking trucks.

I just might buy one from an auction and a 51" standup sleeper is big enough I dam sure not going to live in it seven days a week. I going to buy a truck to make money and spend most of my time in the driver seat not in sleeper hanging out at the truck stop watching TV and eating ding dongs like your lardass.
