    Do you not know how to put all your comments in 1 post. You don't need 6 posts to state what u just said. It will all fit in 1.

    I still haven't seen what brand of truck you bought from LM. If it was a Volvo you should have done your research first, Most people have been stating for a couple of years now that they are loaded with problems.

    At the risk of looking biased (Lone Mountain was a minor sponsor on TruckersReport for two months earlier in the year), freighthauler has been banned. Users are welcome to post their complaints about companies/products/services, but forum rules still apply. Attacking other members is explicitly forbidden in the community rules.

    Lone Mountain Truck Leasing

    As many of you know, I've been "preaching" about company leasing scams for almost 5 years;
    blog posts, radio shows, forum posts, FB, twitter, you name it!

    I've seen Lone Mountains Lease and it's about the best and most honest one out there!!

    Only a few pages long, simple to read, low monthly payments, and no balloon!

    Make me angry to hear this nonsense about reputable people!

    Well over on the other Lone Mountain thread Joe has contradicted himself to include what the website stated, no dog in this fight but the facts are the details are void that gets drivers in the door.

    I seriously doubt that Lone Mountain is selling trucks with major known defects. I talked with them and was informed that I could do any inspections or oil samplings that I wanted to do. They sell trucks from fleets and most of the history of the truck or at least the maintenance practices of those fleets is public knowledge. If I don't bother to do the inspections, samples or investigation then who's at fault? It's a typical attitude these days to blame someone else for everything when most of the time we make our own problems. If I did the due diligence and the truck turned out bad then that's the way it goes - it's still not their fault. At least it's not my fault, but it's still my responsibility.

    From Joe's own post on his other damage control thread, you purchase the truck first before you can take it anywhere.

    I personally know 3 people who bought trucks from them ans you can take them anywhere to have any inspections done before buying anything. They did.

    If Lone Mountain bothers you people that much don't lease from them go lease from some mega fleet bottom feeder instead and be sure to let us know how that turns out...
