If you are putting one on a pickup truck Pro-Tech makes a really nice rack with places for lights and flags and a nice sign on top. Most people in cars or vans end up building theirs and I dont know anyone that builds them as I run all Pickups in my Fleet.

There is a place in Birmingham,Alabama, R&R Enterprises that sets up mobile home toters and escort vehicles. I think they have a website.

What are you looking for in the way of equipment?
also if you will be running NY state your light bar needs to be 47" though I got away with two 18" mounted on the topper. I was never stopped.
stay away from strobes that make a of QRM (radio noise) and you can't hear when you get ahead of the load a mile or so, when you run a high pole.

I am looking for a rack that will hold 1 red flag on each side, you can mount a light bar on and hold a oversize sign that you can flip up and down. That will go on Chevy trucks and suburbans

I custom built all the racks and controls in the cab. I like to make things to fit my needs, if you can weld and do electric work thats the way to go, then buy and paint a sign to your areas requirment and youre golden. Mine fold flat when not in use.
