    I have had cdl-a for years from working with a construction company. Due to wifes health i have not worked much in 4 years. Now that is dealt with how do i go about getting 6-12 month driving experience? Any advice would help. Thanks

    Are you looking for OTR or looking to stay local? If local, most will just want a drive test.

    On the OTR side I am afraid unless you find a small company willing to take a chance on you, you are looking at starting out as a trainie. This is an insurance thing.
