I can't say what they pay an O/O, but the odds are that it is fairly close in line with others in their part of the container hauling world. I see them uite a bit, and they trucks are usually in decent shape, and the reputation they have is of one of the better container hauling outfits. They specialize in going from port to inland cities, rather than doing local drayage. I don't know if they have local trucks picking up from the port and hauling the cans to a drop yard, but I suspect that they operate that way. I know they are tied in closely with one of the railroads, but I couldn' tell you how closely or in what way.
By the way, "Pacer Cartage" is the trucking company, Pacer carnage refers to the basketbll team in Indianapolis and their poilce records! LOL! -
I appreciate the info. on this company. Thanks for catching my spelling error. Thanks,Mike

I use to work for pacer and I can tell you this. It's not what it seems. They only been in business for a few years, there still on the trial and error kick, they forse dispatch, they do not have enough over the road work, and the work that they do have is rail and container which in there case is one load a day per driver (local) just enough for your fuel. There are other companys out there that are so much better then them!!
