Should get any where from .5 to alittle over 1 mpg ,also look forward to more pulling power and less downshifting , but will let you know . Any others that are using the ECOTAZ ,Please also chime in with your recent results THANKS

I promised weekly updates but I haven't been running my usual otr regional freight this past week nor the upcoming week. I'm doing local work pulling a hopper with lots of idling and very few miles so the numbers would be pointless.

Just completed my IFTA for last quarter. And I am sure that I will have Ecotaz to thank for an audit. Last quarter was 6.4 and this quarter with almost full 3-months with unit installed it jumped to 7.3.

7.3 - 6.4 = .9 divided by 6.4 = .14
14 percent Fuel savings average for last 3 months!
At 3.59 per gallon diesel @ 14 percent savings = .50 cents per gallon savings with the ECO-System over your last 3 months.
With better performance on top of that.
I bet your smiling while on your way to the bank!

My IFTA average 3rd quarter was 6.3 mpg but that was only for 3,641 miles that I have been leased on with Bill's company at the end of the quarter. I'll have to see what the first, larger, part of the third quarter was when I get my statement on that from the old job. Typical quarter for me was about 5.1 mpg but I had a lot of out of route miles going back and forth to the house that the previous company never factored (I dont think they did) into my fuel tax figure which skewed my fuel tax mpg's downwards from the 5.6 that I normally averaged. Lot's of factors here that have my numbers all messed up.. but mpg's are up overall and that's a good thing

ECO-Systems
Look forward to Brickman and SHC posting their results in a few days. I really liked EASY GOIN's
Post on the other thread about the savings he is now putting into his "Hip National Bank" account.
$440.00 savings in 10,000 miles. Gave himself a 4 cent per mile raise with the ECO #5.Last edited by ECOTAZ; 10.26.2011 at 12.18 AM. Reason:: spelling
