LTL. Places like Central Transport will move it for you. 2007 it use to cost $85 to move a pallet like that. Have them secure it to a oak pallet real good as it's in for the ride of it's life. If they live near one of the big cities, they'll pick it up. If not, they'll have to take it to a terminal or meet the driver. I've hauled plenty of engines and transmissions like that. I'm sure there are more companies. That's just one I know of.

The $140 is the cost of the shipment less FSC, lift gate service, palletizing/wrapping. Ground delivery/lumper will be extra.

freightquote.com will get you the best rate by far , you enter in class , size of pallet, residential or business delivery and the price includes everything.

it might very well cost him less than 140 dollars to gt it shipped, i have shipped pallets and oversize pallets with racing karts and parts on them from ga to pa an il for less than 100 dollars.

you can check the price by entering in the zip codes and such with no cost to you to get an instant quote. they will give you quotes from several different carriers and you select the one you want.
