Most truck makers will build a custom the way you want it as far as if price dose not matter to you. It only depends what your doing and where your going. Off road, on road, heavy haul, LTL, road train, etc. If you are going for a new truck, get it over built. Everthing is getting heavier and heavier in trailers everyday and it is just as well to spend a few extra bucks now so when you need that extra power or extra load capacity, you got it so you can haul that load with the best running gear you can get with no problem. Ya got to pay the bills some how.

I would say '02 or older rebuilt for the best true pre-emissions with a long wheel base and a hood.

I still have my Tonka truck....been going for over 30 years and still running strong.
Has a few road scars....but does the job.

I highly highly doubt any Volvo rides like my W9. Don't kid yourselves.
