KC O/O or Local
How many owner operators are based out of Kansas City, Missouri? Seems like this would be a great place to run a small trucking company from.
Does anyone know of any local owner operator gigs in the Kansas City or mid west area?

Leased onto a company or your own authority?
What kind of freight and loads?
I live just outside Jeff City and am leased to Midwest Specialized out of Rochester,Mn. But there are tons of decent companies around the KC area too.

There probably more BFI companys over there than good.

Thanks for the input. I would probably run under anothers authority to make sure I could handle that at first. I would prefer to deal with flat beds, I like hard work and staying active.
