So I leased on with my new company....Training was a freaking joke (flatbed) I am pretty much gonna be learning as I go but I believe I am capable of securing a load and tarping....The instructor was nice enough but I would have prefered more one on one but I think he saw I wasnt a total goof and pushed me through.

Here is my problem .... The operations manager pissed me off and made a smart comment about the trailers that we were to be assigned something to the effect of if you dont like it go buy your own....see the recruiter told me the headers did not have chain hangers and could not be removed so I bought a headache rack before I got there (headers did have chain racks)....anyway as I was making this point he made the comment...well I went to Utility and got a nice deal on an 05 then while I was waiting now steamed still I made the call to file for my authority.

Please just tell me I am pretty and didn't just make a huge mistake :biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510:

No worries, we all have to take our own path to find our way sometimes:biggrin_255:

If it were me, and this is the struggle I have as well, I would get my own authority. If you want to lease I would suggest only Landstar or Mercer.

    Clasix1055 Thanks this.

Takes 2 weeks after you file the required insurance to get the authority in place. Your phone will be ringing off the wall with people wanting to do your IFTA IRP Insurance etc. If you are a member of OOIDA they will file your process agents for free, (70 to 100.00 value) If you don't know what a process agent is, call OOIDA and find out. Good Luck to you.
