I have often wondered about the term "O/O specs". That is about as vague as "assault rifle". One person's "O/O specs" is something another O/O would walk away from.

You are right, "Salesmen" killed the term o/o spec trying to push fleet rides out their door.

Just a term. Custom spec'd. Everybody has different needs. Sales people make that out as something cool with an 18 speed and 22 gauges. Any serious customer is looking to see if it has 40k axles,20k steer maybe, ratios, what brand of axles makes a difference to some etc. No sense in getting mad at salesmen cause people do buy trucks based solely on 22gauges and 18 speed lol.

Not so much a salesman ad. My boss spec'd this truck to operate a dump trailer from long island,ny to upstate. Lost the contract now he does not know if he is going to sell it as a glider or build it to sell complete. You can laugh at the O/O spec term but it is true. If I were to buy a truck I would without a doubt want an 18 speed and I love the look of a flat top.
