Looking to Join Texas Oilfield
Hey all. I was thinking about buying a truck and trying to get in on some of this Texas Frac/Oil field stuff.
I've researched in order to try and find a direction to head in. But it's like trying to make a list of everything.
Are there any Owner/Operators... either power only or with trailer that can offer me some advice and point me in the right direction? Where's the money at? Why type of trailer (if any) would you buy if you could (or did)?
I could buy a truck outright right now. Or next Spring I would be comfortable financing a truck and trailer with sufficient escrow in reserve.
Not in a hurry. I'm currently hauling tankers (food grade) for a pretty decent company right now. But would like to see if I could make some serious money.
Thanks.

Truant I may be speaking out of line here, but here goes. I am an o/o and will be coming to tx shortly, without my trk. I want to learn the process there first. As an o/o of a single trk u r working against odds to start with. During a break down u won't have an income, or a trk to fulfill it contracts along with all other expenses. Know the battlefield before you commit all ur assets or worse borrow money to play in a game u don't know the rules to. For what it is worth good luck .
