Question about driving for Acme
My husband wants to become an owner/operator Acme. I'm seeing mostly negative about the company. I'm trying to find something positive. I'm also trying to find out how you get on as an owner/operator with Acme. Their website isn't very detailed.
We will have to try and get a small business loan to get a truck and trailer. He's pretty confident about this company, but I want to hear from you all who have "been there, done that." Did you have a good experience as an owner/operator for Acme and what's the process of getting on?
Thanks!

i heard alot of bad about this company i have a friend of mine in school to get his cdl and he told me about a guy from acme that went to his school to talk drivers into going with acme. from what he said the gur was extremely unprofessional talking like they were better then everyone else and if you wanted to work for them they took no less then the best he would even point out people driving in the yard trying to learn how to drive laugh at them and saying they dont want those kind of drivers when there all learning like even in school they have to be perfect he would even make fun of them real nasty character i wouldn't work for a company that hired those kinds of people.
