But I try to do it so one load delivers in the same area as my pick up to try to keep the overhead down if at all possible. Same with produce picks and drops
I was in Sin City earlier this week. Now I'm sitting in St. George because my load was not completed on Friday like it was supposed to be. I wish they had told me I was going to have to layover cuz I'd have stayed south and gave u a call.

I have deadheaded 700 miles home from Baltimore. I knew I might do that when I booked the load out, so i made sure the load payed enough to cover the DH back. The only reason I didn't wait around a day to find a descent load was because I had to be back home by friday for a wedding. But if I had waited a day and all the loads were under-par then I would have just DH back anyways. I always make sure a load will pay me $2.00 mile round trip.

Almost all the dry loads going out of Baltimore are sub-par, going west and south, I know wind makes good money going up to the north east from there though.

I run a flatbed, but have been doing a lot of research on van loads from my area and it's seeming like I could almost do just as well and stick to a 100 mile radius of Chicago. Mostly hazmat stuff too, which I like cuz many of the shi*-hole companies around that area can't do them

Who is hauling for Bounce Logistics for this kind of rates. see attachment

Bounce logistics has listed this load from Dayton OH to Laredo Tx 1470miles for $1850. Obviously they do not want you to stay in business. Why do you help for them to stay in business?

Some hooligan will take that load in a heartbeat.. that's why companies are loosing lanes, because some peeshee out there says he will do the load for 300-500$ less, boggles my mind

Freight Quote.com just told me on this load that they do not have $2600 in the load going from Dayton OH area to Miami FL area. It was listed for $2100 and the guy told me that they have it listed for $1975. But then the load was gone.
My question is who is hauling for them at this kind of rates.

Could you shed some more light on the $2.00 round trip is it more than 500 mile one way? Which lane? Which broker was it?

Cost for me to move a load is $550 per day + $1.05 / mile at a minimum
