Kind of rough kicking back in a daycab when the road is shut down for about 4 or more hours. sleeper all the way.

I ran with a day cab for a week while my truck was in the shop, I will NEVER do it again!
No room for any of my stuff not even a gallon of oil! I had 1 fuel tank and had to fill twice a night and it rode rough. My cooler rode on the pass. seat ok and my coat over the back but my over night bag had to ride on the floor and there was no place to keep munchies!
The worst part was no bunk to catch a nap on.

I think your initial cost of the 'big house' is a bit high. Sure, new ones sell for that, but if I were to go that route, then I'd be purchasing a used 'big house' for around $40-50k and having it installed on my tractor. My only concern would be the limitations it would place on the weight of the freight that I could haul.

I'd rather a sleeper, I love to camp/drive with everything huddled up.

theoretically a daycab sounds good, but real world practicality, a condo/sleeper all the way.

Also I want to know where you are getting a hotel room for $45 a night???
Im talking one with fresh sheets, fresh coffee and clean bathroom. I only stay at newer construction hotels, usually a Holiday Inn Express or a new Laquinta and it runs between $90-$129 a night.

I fully agree, no way you can average a price that low.
I spend two nights a week minimum in motel rooms (@ company expense) and the biggest hurdle is finding motels that have "truck parking". There's a huge difference between what I and some motel chains deem to be truck parking> My average cost would be $55 and that's staying @ Super 8's and HoJo's.
