Hello,
I am an owner operator and I own four trucks with a California based trucking company. I was wondering how I could get help from you guys regarding loads from east coast to west coast runs. Is there any way I can have the east coast to west coast trips run more efficiently so that my drivers don't get stuck there for days. My drivers get stuck there because they do not have a load to take straight back with one stop and they just zig zag all the way back home (to California). I have agreed to get paid less so my drivers can come back home quickly.
So, that said, is there any easy way to have runs from east coast to west coast with none or few stops? Is there a freight broker or website or anything of that sort that can make that possible? Your advice and thoughts are much appreciated.

There are load boards that should have loads like that. Apparently load boards have all types of loads on them. Now would they be worth it money wise I have no clue but I am sure those boards would have that stuff.

We have east coast to west coast runs on occasion. Not sure who all you pull for but you might check into it. CHR would be another good one to pull for and you might check some of the big boys broker boards (Sni, Swift, Roadrunner, etc.)

Let me know if your drivers are ever in Albuquerque and looking to go to LA. I send about 2 loads a month and I end up paying Ch Robinson to find me drivers for it. Since my truck blows so much smoke I don,t dare take it to Cali; they would burn me at the stake.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. About the loads from Albuquerque...are the exact dates (you said two times a month) for the runs known or is it just a flexible two time a month run that just occur whenever. Simply put, do you know exact dates for the runs?raylittlebear Thanks this. -
I would join OOIDA and use the members edge load board, it is live time and you can schedule return loads.
You do have to pay for the use of the board but it gives far more detail than a free one. -
This is the type of small fleet companies that are screwup everybody. He just mention that he will move his truck for less just to get out of the no load zone. I suggest to charge doble to drive to Florida and you can came out mty to Gorgia and get load out to California...but do not accept cheap loads. Please.

We really dont have scheduled times for the loads from Albuquerque. They happen as the company builds up enough inventory to ship. It is roughly every 14-18 days. If you find one of your trucks stuck in Albuquerque, let me know. Even if the load is only 85% ready, we may still be able to get it loaded for you; I would just need to let the receiver know first.
