I know of a carrier that runs their drivers very well. You can probably gross $5000 on average. Of course that's before fuel, commission, and repairs.

Any info on no money down no credit check lease purchase? Im denied employment by carriers "on the books" for open child support (probation)
and at least as an independent I wont have garnishment issues. VAn you recommend a good place to go? DART, or SCHNEIDER etc? Im not
familiar with the whole list but there has to be a decent deal.

Not true, anyone that cuts you a check can get an order.

Plus, the bigger issue is the risk of having your CDL suspended with no notice. Can you imagine what a carrier goes through when you are on a load and they learn that your CDL was suspended?

even in a lease contract, before you get into one, they look at your credit score. And in your credit score is your default child support. Just like a foreclosure, repo or defaulted loan. And it's never looked at in a favorable light.

Get too far behind, you can/will loose your license as well. And to get it back would result in a trip to talking to the judge.

I am trying to wrap my head around a $2K per month, 48 month lease. Even with 20% down, that's still $72,000 principal. After 48 months, $28,000 in paid interest. Just curious, but is a trailer included in that finance? Do you own your trailer? Flat? Step?

If you can find your own work, I'd suggest Farm2Fleet if you have a flat/step or dry van. I was there until I decided to get into a reefer. Bill wasn't keen on wanting to go that way just now, so I found a shop closer to the house in MN to work for. I wasn't doing too bad with them. Averaging right around $1.80 per mile with a dry van on all miles. Normally less than 4% dead head. I was self-dispatched and found my own loads.

    don't know anything about Landstar.

www.farm2fleet.com is their website. You can call and talk to Bill there. I had zero contacts when I started with them and ran off of the Internet Truck stop. Still do too. Just run a reefer now and not a dry van.
