I want to become O/O. My budget 30000. Kenwart, Peterbuild, Volvo or Western Star.
Engine N14-Cummins, ISX Cummins Or C-15 Cat. I realy like 2001 Western Star N-14, but I need advice from more experience people.

Most of all, do NOT become an O/O without being company for a few years. You have to know how to be a trucker, before you can run a trucking company!

You can't even spell the trucks brands properly! Hey don't buy a truck especially an old one until you know lots about it, like what are you gonna haul,? Flatbed. Tanker, Dry van, Dump...etc

you'll lose the truck in 6 months cause you know nothing about it...get a job, with a company who teach you the in & outs of the trucks,& trucking, do this for at least 10 years...then decide if you want to buy a truck

    Voltrucker and SheepDog Thank this.

We understand what you asked.............. but we are trying to tell you it would be BEST FOR YOU if you wait until you get some experience first BEFORE YOU BUY A TRUCK. I am sure someone will come in and suggest what type of truck is right for you ..................AFTER YOU TELL US WHAT YOU WILL BE HAULING (you are not giving us enough information)..... information you wont know until AFTER you finish being a "student" and getting a job :biggrin_25525:
