    Hi guys,

was wondering what kind of discounts you are receiving with the different cards you are using. I currently have tch and it only gives me 2 cents at pilot/FJ...

I was on the rts carrier services site and they advertise an average of 16 cents off at ta/petro....

what about going cash back credit cards or rewards credit cards?

Are you independent or leased onto a carrier?

Either way, I joined NASTC, and get cost+4-or-better at TA/Petro, Sapp Bros, a lot of AMBESTs, and other no name places. Membership was $250, and the cost for my card is $3/mo, no fees if used at a network stop. Plus, the price is locked in the day before around noon for the following day. And you get a printout every day online of what the fuel prices will be for everywhere in the country in the network. 2cpg is a joke of a discount.

Sly Fox is right. NASTC is the way to go. Discounts of up to about 20 cents per gallon , depending on which place. He forgot to mention Fleet One charges you $50.00 to issue the card , setup , etc. I recovered that $300.00 plus more , the first month.

Best discount I got: TA in Columbia, NJ last week. $4.259 cash pump price. I paid $3.77 through NASTC.

Forgot about the $50. I had actually signed up for the OOIDA card (also FleetOne) for $25 ($2500/weekly limit). They then just converted that card to the QPN network when I signed with NASTC.

Also, I had $900 discount on my new drive and steer tires I just bought at Petro in Carlisle, PA.

I would call Fleet One garbage but that would insult garbage.

I paid to have comparison done and after accounting for inflated TA prices the discount was in $.10 range. Drivers who do best with it have to check prices daily. Feels like a lot of bait and switch.

And what card is part of it. The program behind the card is what gets the rates. Plenty of simple, honest programs out there.

TCH and Comdata seem to have best networks and support.

I also agree that the NASTC Fleet One card is the way to go and have not had any problems with them at all.

Have seen over $0.30 per gallon discount off of cash price posted on signs at TAs and Petros.

    Great program!

Not sure if there are any . I only use their card in network. You can set it so you can fuel at pilot , or loves , but you don't get the big discounts at those places, so I restricted mine to in network. I have another card i can use for the others.

And be careful if you're a O/O using company comdata. I realized I'm being charged $7.50 everytime I pull up to a pump.
