Are you a company driver? If so,are you going to have to pay for the stolen fuel even though knowingly it's not your fault? What you should start doing is everytime you park, write down all the needed info of the trks next to you just incase.May seem like extra work but sometimes you have to do that to hopefully catch the thieves.

In the 70s we ran team to CA and a guy ran a hose to one of our trucks. Driver jumped in or truck and just took off ripping the guys fuel tank half off and dumping his fuel everywhere. Our drive had some damage tot he filler but look at it, drove away and then stopped and stuffed a towel in it.

My mechanic had a system like that on his truck when he drove back in the early 80's. It got me thinking that I might have him put something like that on mine.

Hey Cobb county trucker, that has to be the best quote ever, lived in Jonesboro thirty years. Over in Ala at the 168 mile marker trucker found dead laying beside his truck with hose and the pump still running. truck ran over him too but a 38 stopped him. My brother works in Atlanta, he is a rear gunner on a bread truck. Take care
