Does any O/O on here use this HOWES lubricant on a regular basis. Helps with mpg? Cleans the engine out? For less than the price of 4 gallons of fuel, I could be adding this stuff to my routine. Any body care to weigh in?

I once went through a class presented by our fuel manager who done the research and compared all of them. Supposingly Power Service out performs all of them. People buy Howe's because it looks cool in that clear bottle.
Our company used Power Service religiously and I cabbaged up on the rebate program.bigNATURE Thanks this. -
I have not used Lucas fuel treatment myself, but have heard good things about it from more than just guys out here on the road. Some of the performance diesel places did some testing on it and it seemed to actually do some good. Other than that, I only really use additives in the winter months. For lubricity, I get more than I need with bio fuels. More than any additive on a shelf will provide. I do treat the tanks once a month with a shock dose of FPPF Killem to make sure and kill and critters that are trying to build homes in my fuel system.

I like the Howes Meaner Cleaner.

Howes is probably the best stuff I have used for my older tractors. My Cat 3406b really runs better on the Howes. If you have a newer truck you can shop around. When it comes to the older motors I wouldn't look any further.

Check out schaefferoil.com You gotta go thru a dealer to get the stuff. I buy their products by the 55 gallon drum. I run the winter fuel additive year round. Sixteen ounces treats 125 gallons and costs me $3.38/pint. Summer additive treats 250 gallons per pint and costs $4.04/pint. A rep can explain in great detail the differences in all the "shelf" products compared to Schaeffers.

Schaeffers is very good stuff for the winter. I could pass on their summer additive. Not that it's horrible but their winter blend is better I think.

I run amsoil fuel additive but I'm a amsoil dealer so I'm biased. I have used alotta howes and never had a truck or piece of equipment gel up and I can't say for eithier product that it ran better.

I run Howes meaner kleaner in my 05 international with the isx and i seen a .35 to .55 increase mile per gal increase, seams to accelerate and idle smoother. i also used it in my 60 s detroit and seen the same result. the trick is to use a whole bottle in each tank(150 gal) then half bottle per tank after that. I also use Marvel Myst oil about every 6th fill up, doesnt really help on mileage from what i can tell but it does help to lube it up and clean the injectors. just my 2 cents
