| It's all depends on how much he paying you to haul it.. I did drive for a company, I would leave out on Monday and made 9 to 19 drops and deadhead 600 miles home on Thrusday or friday pending when I made my last drop. |

| Working for family/friends can be a stress on your relationship so make sure you BOTH understand and AGREE on the whole deal....I would even get it in writing just to be sure. If you both go into it with open eyes fully aware then the relationship shouldnt suffer, as for pay.....as stated above it depends on what the one way pay is etc.

| At $4 a loaded mile I would be all over that one. You CANNOT afford to run empty one way unless you are getting a double rate on the loaded part of the equation. Then you will not care that you come home empty. Better MPG, less tire and engine wear empty.

| Thanks everyone, just trying to get an idea, and give us something to take about at the Memorial Day picnic. Memorial Day, the day that commemorates bed linen sales at Sears. |

| as saide above make sure you both so that your personal life out side the job does not suffer as for empty comeing back home if the pay is right you should not have to worry but if you do try to find a broker in the area you are del to he might be able to get you close to the house with less empty miles and you can also look at the load boards at the truck stops that way you will be making so kind of pay comeing home |
