About how many gallons do you burn idling for 10hr break?

Have about 50 gallons right now, is it safe to idle during break in cold weather for the night?

Should run a gallon an hour, how sure are you of the amount of fuel?

I figure a gallon an hour. It won't hurt anything to idle

Yeah, about a gallon an hour………..but, you say you have "about" 50 gallons, right ? Some tanks won't draw the last 10 gallons from the bottom, sooooooooo, do you feel lucky ? Well, do ya' ?

idling RPM up a few 100 rpm just watch oil pres. go up a bit and you will be fine. no need to run it up to 1100 rpm.
