    Geez I might as well throw my rant in on that whole Sirius/XM and their programming. It's pretty funny when a business first starts out it's all about the listeners, that didn't last long after the merger.

    It was good from 2-8. Evan, bozo ( once in a while) and OOIDA. America's Truckin Network is just unlistenable, like Jonesy. Since ATN left satellite, I've tuned in 3 times. All three times he's had the Motorkote guy on. Not that it's a better show anyway, its the same 15 guys who call in, most intelligible, very little trucking talk, mostly political conspiracy. And by the way, a few of those guys, Plowboy and Sugarbear, wow. Makes you want to jump out the window. And Jonesy? He'd be ok, but the whole show is truckers talking to one another. Sorry Jonesy. That's just the worst idea for a radio show. Lol.

    The Road Dog is just bad. Some of the music channels though are great. Deep Tracks, Alt Nation, SiriusXMU, Liquid Metal, good stuff.

    I was a company driver for 6mo, before I bought my 1st truck. Everything I learned was from reading on the internet. I have no family or friends in the trucking business. When I got my authority I did everything myself. I finance my truck 3yrs ago for 25k, and I just paid it off in Oct. When I say I was a company driver for six months, that was broken time. I was a company driver for 3months before I got deployed. Then I came back and drove for another 3mo, before I got my own authority. I didn't have much experience and I am still in the game. I no longer have my authority, I put it on hold in 2011. I was told in 2011 I would be deployed for the 2nd time in June 2012, so I sold my trailer and leased on with SNI on July 2011. I got back this year in APR, and starting back to work in June 2013. Going to reinstate authority next spring. Its a lot of information on here, you just have to wade through the BS. That's why I say its some truth in what Kevin is saying.

    I like lithium, and all the sports. Hockey is tough on the radio, but what alternative do I have? Other than a normal 9-5 home every night job.

    I'm still a huge Howard fan, but three days a week and sometimes one in the summer while he's doing AGT is getting a bit old. And yeah, lithium and faction are good too. Check out Classic Vinyl, Classic Rewind. Ozzy's channel, and a few others. Not Octane. That's like corporate rock radio, same few songs every hour.

    Kevin keeps calling conventional engine oil "mineral oil". I then scream at my radio.

    Most of his advice is valid, but his terminology is flawed.

    They guy used to defend the Turbo3000 D Vada and to any caller that said it couldn't possibly work, Kevin's reply was always... "do you understand fluid dynamics?"

    I stopped listening.
    Then the merger cut XM12. That was a sad day.

    Then the subscription ran out and I discovered internet radio and unlimited data.
